Ofsted, July 2007

Access has recently been awarded the matrix accreditation for the quality and effective delivery of information, advice and guidance to learners.
The matrix Standard is a unique quality framework of eight elements which were assessed during one-to-one interviews with learners and staff and the examination of documentation and literature used by the company to advise learners and employers about our services.
Feedback from the assessment day included the following strengths:
- Learners are supported well by committed staff who, it is felt, are accessible and approachable. Contact by email, phone and company visits, support profession and achievement.
- Staff are professional and passionate in their approach, keen to deliver a learner centred approach. Ongoing training of staff supports the development of individuals and allows for continuous improvement.
- Learners and employers felt the staff to be supportive, providing choice and encouragement through the delivery of a customer led service.
- Partners were happy with the relationship they had with the company. There was a feeling that the company was willing to share good practice and respond to changes.
Matrix accreditation is for 3 years and during this time we will be looking to continously develop the quality of the service we provide.

As an adult learner through Train to Gain, I can highly recommend Access who have helped me to have my skills improved, recognised and certificated. I have been able to apply my new skills and increased motivation to take on more responsibility. A benefit to both me and my organisation.

I would just like to say that I am very pleased with all the support Sue Tomlinson gave me throughout my training. She is an excellent trainer. She offered me support and direction in all areas of my NVQ Management Level 4.
She inspired me to look outside the box and gave me confidence to push myself more. I feel I have learnt and achieved so much through her help and encouragement. She is truly an inspiration to new learners.

I started a new job as an administrator after 19 years as a legal secretaryj. I found I needed extra learning and skills to enable me to achieve my goals. In particular I needed more experience with Microsoft Access and Excel and the training and guidance from Access has been invaluable to me personally and to my organisation. I have been able to set up many procedures that were lacking before I arrived and that in turn has boosted my confidence. My trainer Yvonne has been an enormous help to me. I have always felt that I could contact her at any time if I had any problems.
Keep up the good work Access!
